Tomorrow will roll over a new year and date for all of us. In the next year people will plan out trips, plan birthday parties, graduations, and yes funerals. A new year brings hope for better days. People often look for fresh starts at the beginning of a new year, desiring for greater success in some area of their lives. But how often do people ask for wisdom?
The Oxford dictionary defines wisdom as the ability to make sensible decisions and give good advice because of the experience and knowledge you have. A wise choice might not always be the most popular in culture or business, but when we ask God for his wisdom and follow His path it will lead to peace. Peace is more important than success, as it leads of a life at rest with ourselves and others.
My kudos to you today is to seek the one who made you this new year. He has the best plan and it will lead to your success. God's wisdom helps us to handle life as it really is and for each of us it will paint a unique picture of success. God doesn't compare you to others, so let go of the pressure. Rejoice in your uniqueness and find your success!
