The Star is Falling!

I purchased a new Christmas star this year for the top of my Christmas tree. I loved the multi-colored design. It matched nicely with the all the primary colors sparkling in the tree. The only issue is that it tends to be top heavy for my artificial tree. It's missing the real tree trunk.

In our society today we purchase a lot of artificial products and foods with artificial flavorings. There are some things that when recreated artificially, it just isn't as good as the real deal or the natural substance as it was originally created.

My star needed a trunk from a real tree, then it would hold in place more securely.

My kudos to you today is to hold onto the tree of all life, Jesus. He said that he was the vine or the trunk in the grape vineyards. We are his branches and apart from him we can do nothing. (John 15: 5-8 Message Version) He is not artificial. His sturdiness has been tried and tested over the ages. When you feel like you are falling under the stress of this Christmas season, remember my star. You need to reconnect and readjust to the trunk! Jesus will hear your cry, "Lord, help! My star is falling!"
