When we were putting up our outdoor Christmas lights a neighbor was passing by while walking her dog. She commented on how she liked the arrangement and especially the manger. "Oh, I totally forgot about the manger!"
Christmas time can be a time of joy with sparkling outside Christmas lights, with festive get-togethers and office parties. It can also be a time of great sadness because memories flood in from the past of happier days of people who have now passed away.
Have we as a society forgotten about the manager and the light it brings? Remember that Christ entered the world to bring us hope in our darkness, and the love to endure every circumstance. If you are a child of God you can experience those attributes regardless of your situation. The celebration of Christmas is to be a reminder of His love and the light it brings to a dark world.

My kudos to you today is never forget about the manager. It is the essence of why we celebrate Christmas and it brings us hope, hope for today and all our tomorrows. Christ's birth is the essence of God's love for us. Know that you loved and this love for the world all started in a manager.
