GPS: GOD's Positioning System

The following is an account of a prayer being answered during the first season of the coronavirus. A friend, whose name has been changed for privacy, sent me a prayer request earlier in the day and I responded in the afternoon. I typically don’t give a lot of scripture, but this time for some reason I felt “impressed” to send a scripture verse.

Read the account below in progression and see what the Lord did, in his divine timing! This encouraged me so much to answer and respond to others. Sometimes, I get weary, but persevere. Honestly, wondering if I’m making a difference or saying the right thing. BUT this account was such a FAITH BOOSTER!

A request from Lynda.

We have a situation where our high-risk son needs to travel across country next month. I'm worried for his safety. Please pray for peace for me. Also pray for protection and safety for my toddler. This stress is affecting my sleep, appetite, etc. Thank you.

Then I texted her back as follows:

Jesus, I pray for your peace to rest upon Lynda. I ask Jesus that the stress will go and she can sleep at night. Bring resolution we pray through your Holy Spirit. We thank you in advance for what you will do. Also let Lynda meditate on Psalm 91 that she can trust you for her child's protection. Give her the calm assurance that you are able to keep her son safe from pestilence and disease.

We seal all these things, in the name of Jesus Amen!

Then Lynda wrote back.

"Thank you so much, dear sister. I'm about to blow your mind. Right before you sent this, I took this picture."

The picture was of Lynda at our church property's prayer walk. She had just snapped a picture of her son standing in front of a scripture verse sign PSALM 91!! At the same time I was praying for them and their situation Psalm 91!!

My kudos to you today is: remember that God hears your every prayer! He knows where you are and He listens. He has a GPS and it is the best!

He will keep you safe from all hidden dangers and from all deadly diseases. He will cover you with his wings; you will be safe in his care; his faithfulness will protect and defend you. Psalm 91: 3-4 GNS
