We went to the rodeo Saturday night and had a great time! The crowd was cheering continually for bull-doggin', calf roppin, bull riding, and my favorite women's barrel racing! It was the annual Silver Spurs Rodeo in Kissimmee, Florida.
We got there an hour early, but the seats were already sold out! Hubby and I had already bought our tickets online. But miraculously, our friends who came without tickets were moved to the head of a very long line. Yikes! It had been announced that the ticket sales were closed! Thank you, Jesus they got tickets in literally the last few minutes!
The evening was a great example of how our society is trying to come back together and get a sense of normalcy after the pandemic. There were literally two rows of people standing up the entire time because there were no seats in the 10,000+ seat stadium! Obviously, many were seeking community!
My kudos to you today is that you will find community in a family that will last for eternity. It is the family of God. We find that relationship when we are born anew by God's Spirit by repenting of our sins, believing in His Son Jesus to forgive us our sins, then following after him and living out His teachings.
There is only one family of God, and that family is made up of those who are born into God's family by faith in Jesus Christ. We become His children. (Ephesians 2:19, Romans 8:16)
