Have you ever prayed a prayer and wondered if God is really hearing you? You pray and pray, but the answers don't seem to come. You begin to doubt if God is really listening or if you have done something wrong to hinder your prayers. Actually, there are seasons in our lives and sometimes the answers don't come on our time table. God in his sovereignty has a plan much bigger than our finite human minds can conceive.
The digital age has conditioned us into rapid response answers and getting our answers quickly. We become impatient with people and God. Just let God be God. If the answers don't come on our timetable this forces us to use our faith and be more patient.
My kudos to you today is to rest in God's goodness knowing that there is a reason for His delay. What may seem like delay here on earth might be a completion to your prayer and His divine plan that is being worked out in heaven. Rest assured that when the answer comes, it will be as beautiful as a golden autumn leaf hidden among the many leaves of prayer that you have prayed along the way. God never forgets our prayers!
