Christmas Miracle

My most recent grandson will be a little over three months old this Christmas. His infant life is a preciously designed gift from our Creator. Last year at this time we didn't even know he was coming! Wow! The miracle of life!

I can only wipe away tears as a proud grandmother. What a blessing and gift. Children at Christmas allow us to see the joy and wonderment in life itself. Go to a shopping mall at Christmas and visit Santa's workshop area or listen to the chatter around Santa's train ride. The sounds of children laughing over the very simplest of pleasures. Thank you God for the little ones!

Jesus started this earthly life as an infant and I'm sure Mary marveled many days at God's goodness to her and Joseph, despite many challenges. If you find yourself getting bogged down in the challenges of too many lists at Christmas, take time to sit quietly and reflect on the Miracle of Christmas and the miracles of life itself. Rejoice in the little ones you have around you. It can be a reminder of how our Savior came to us and brought the greatest Christmas miracle of all!
