Children are a heritage from the Lord and grandchildren are a crown to the aged. What a blessing to hold our little ones, if not just for a few moments.
Yesterday, this Grammy and Papa, got to chat via Messenger to see our grandchildren. Even though they live miles away in Connecticut, how wonderful to say, "hi" for a few minutes. Children are like a breath of fresh air to our future. Their joy in the simple things of life remind us to not take ourselves too seriously. Often we can get caught-up in our "to-do" lists and weekly goals that we miss the
uniqueness of the moment, the moments that can never be felt or touched again.
Living in the moment is to let go of worrying about anything. It is to release yourself from over analyzing the past and stop fretting about the future, appreciating the subtleties of time and realizing each breath we breathe is a gift.
My kudos to you today is to quit worrying and start wondering. Have more "wonder" moments than worry moments. Marvel or wonder at the beauty of children, know that God has created them to remind us of the simplicity of life through the eyes of a child.
Many, Lord my God, are the wonders which You have done...if I proclaim and declare them, they are more than I can count. Psalm 40:5
