Adventure into Remote places

Updated: Jan 3, 2022

This past week my insurance changed so I had to go online and delve into the unknown of reading physician backgrounds and reviews...it's like going on a journey into an unknown forest. One of the reasons I love hiking in new places is because there's a sense of adventure. Certain trails have different twists and turns. It's fun sometimes to not know what lies ahead, as long as the risk isn't too great. Lol So why can't I take the same perspective when I go to a new doctor or dentist? Ever been there?

Well, I am going to try and take a more positive attitude. One of my goals for 2022 is to not be a grumpy person. As I find myself aging with a few more aches and pains, I think those things overshadow my outlook. I told my husband once that if there was one thing I did not want to become is a "grumpy old person." Who would have ever dreamed that it takes work!

My kudos to you today is to allow a new perspective to life's challenges. If you find yourself standing at a new place and the path before you is filled with ruts, rocks, and barren branches, know that others have traveled this path too. They have conquered the new trail because they believed that they could. Know that God has created you with certain giftings that no one else has. Ask Him to help you conquer the path, with His strength. And most importantly, don't take yourself too seriously! Sometimes we think we are the only one in the whole world going through a challenge.

If you want to know what God wants you to do, ask him, and he will gladly tell you, for he is always ready to give a bountiful supply of wisdom to all who ask him. James 1:5-8 TLB
