A Race Without Distance?

When we enter life we all have something in common. You start as a baby, develop into a child, go through puberty and then enter adulthood. Psalm 139:13 states that God made all the delicate, inner parts of our body and knit them all together in our Mother's womb. Life is a cherished possession when we realize the fragility of our existence. This past year or so many people, including myself, have said goodbye to those we loved and knew. Their race ended, but we are not left without hope.

Jesus gave us the hope of eternal life. Our spirit will live on into the next life which has no end or distance. How we live this race here on earth will be our testing ground for the rewards we will receive in heaven. Only God knows the final distance of your race. God has a special purpose for each individual and their race. It is a good purpose to fulfill. Those who follow His plan will accomplish things that are specifically designed for them. As we take time to get to know the Creator, he will reveal that plan.

My kudos to you today is to seek the Master Designer. Surrender your plans to his plans. The race will be much easier when you have the help of the one who designed you. As Christians we surrender our will for His perfect will and follow God. This means letting go of our race plans, and letting God have His way by allowing him to guide our decisions. No one knows on what day their race will end. Make the best of your race each day! You were created for His good!

Commit your works to the Lord [submit and trust them to Him] And your plans will succeed [if you respond to His will and guidance.] Proverbs16:3 Amplified
